I usually say Peace, Grace and Blessings! Goodbye see you later.

My grandmother Lucille never said goodbye.

So first impressions are lasting impressions. And what you leave others with is far greater than what you said with the time in there presences. 

I have to establish a better way to greet others and leave a great impact when I depart.

How do I do that? 

2012- Welcome to my life

2012 is alive and kicking!!! Life is trying to kick my butt but God!!! God is cleaning me inside and out. I have been contained, blocked, hidden for so long and he wants me to come out of my  cocoon. This butterfly wants to be free! He is tearing down this walk.  My stuff is hitting the fan.  I have so many blessings and I just need to thank God for where I am. I need to stop saying if I had...or of I was or...I wish that I... So what I don't but I will!!! He has opened so many doors. I am the one who closes it. Now it is time to just stop the madness!  People believe in me and I know there is greatness in me.  It is coming out!  So I give God all my praise!!!

It's been a minute since I have been writing. Without further ado I am back. I am so glad God is a God of clarity and discernment.

I love Theatre because theatre is so spiritual. As actors, if we as a person have a lot of baggage and our character does not, we have to put on a mask and leave that baggage outside the stage doors and act like nothing is wrong. Just like with God, no matter what is going on in out lives we have to leave the baggage with him and give him the glory through all the trouble. We have to be happy when we just want to break down and cry. We have to thank him for the good as well as the bad. Because we know that everything is in God’s plan.
Life is theatre and Theatre is Life. Things we learn in Theatre can help us in life.

Life is a Stage and we are players in it. We put on a nonstop production everyday.

God is the only Producer, Director and designers. He made us. He provides us with nourishment for our bodies, clothes on our backs, roofs over our heads and all our hearts desire.

We think that we are the directors of our own plays.
The play ends when we leave our flesh on earth. It is up to us if we are going to end it happily ever after or forever never happy. The director gives us a script; dialogue, lyrics, and stage directions of a musical or play; to live by and it is called The BIBLE. Live by this and the actor will never wonder about the ending of their play.

Developing our character or Building our story.
God lets us interpret our characters. And the technique to use is up to us. He lays the foundation, the Word of God, but he wants us to use the right materials. We can change wants in the script only by changing what we are doing. He allows us to start a new situation or scene in our play. He wants our character have resolution and resolve. A scene is division of an act, usually denoting a change in time or place; can also be the descriptor for the locale of a play.

We are each stories and everyone around us are actors who play characters in our lives.
We play characters in other people’s stories as well. The play has only one plot, although it has many different subplots, and it is to live the way God wants us to live. The script never changes because God knows what we are going to do before we do it.
No one’s story is better than the other. Whether we know it or not we are all players in everyone’s play. If we know them or not. We just play different roles. People come in our lives for a reason.
We have to influence our atmosphere. Bad people in our lives are bad things we have not dealt with.
Playing various of characters
We try to play different characters. We have to remember characters never change but our lives change. When we do this, we try to alter our scripts (life). We are trying to be the director. God steps in and put conflicts in our paths to remind us that he is always in control. We must follow God’s director. We start thinking that other people are the directors. They are only actors.
God’s stage manager is Jesus. Matthew 1:21 says, “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” Everything of God must be glorified through Jesus Christ. Jesus, the stage manager, came to make the production process run much easier.

Jesus when left he left is with another stage manager, the Holy Spirit. John 14:26 says, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

The Diva Nina Simone said it best: New Dawn New Day and I'm feeling Good!!! I have embarked on a branded new Chapter. I am no longer bound and chained to teach at HCZ PA1. I am able to spread my wings. I always felt like that place was stifling me as an artist. Don't get me wrong I was making the best out of what God gave me and I'm so grateful! I was able to bring out the creativeness of young artist to be. And work on my skills as an educator and a director. I found out my strengths and my weaknesses. But now it is time to get BACK to business! I need to step up my game! Next level. I had been holding back! Now it is time to pull all stops. And Follow where he leads me.

Stop Wasting Your Time and Gifts on the Undeserving

I always wanted a clearer understanding on Matthew 7:6: “Do not give dogs what is scared; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.”

It wasn’t until yesterday I finally understood what it truly mean to my life. I have been giving what is scared to dogs and throwing my pearls to pigs. I have been wasting my time and energy on people who bring negative spirits and energy to my life. Folks who only want to be around me for fleshly gain, (money, material things, self). Those who I should have never been in contact with (whom God said stay away from). Individuals who aren’t any good for me. Those who I allow to “play with my emotions” and leave me upset . So I did a little research on what it truly mean to give scared things to dogs and pearls to swine and how we can protect ourselves from the continuing cycle of self destruction.

Question: WHAT IS SACRED AND PRECIOUS THAT SHOULD BE KEPT OFF PEOPLE THAT IS PORTRAYED AS ‘DOGS AND PIGS’?

1. Don’t waste what is holy, scared on people who are unholy
Holy= flesh offered in sacrifice
Scared= Holy, set apart, consecrated, hallowed.

What makes a person set apart?

1. Awareness and acceptance of God’s grace
2. Knowing your purpose
3. Walking after the Spirit
You give what is scared when you:
• Allow people to steal your joy.
• To give up your personal vision and mission in order to be accepted.
• Seek approval of Man.
• Allow the disappointment affect your mind, living, or get you off your path
• People who will crush your dream as soon as you share it with
them. (Dream Killers)
• Have Nothing Good to say, only negative
• Walk in footsteps of others.

2. Don’t throw your pearls to pigs
Throwing Pearls to pigs mean:
• Living Unequally Yoked
• To allow familiarity that can bring contempt, with those who do not value your faith
• Fail to live in the world but not of the world.
• You lose sight of your purpose

Pearls are precious gems found in shell fish. They are items of high value, Rare.
Pearls differ from other gemstones in that they're not mined from rock. A pearl is produced when an irritant such as sand gets caught inside the oyster. To protect itself, the oyster secretes a substance akin to mucus. This substance builds up around the sand and hardens. The end result is a pearl.

Irritant= nuisance, evil, pain, sorrow, heart ache, upset, joy killers, the feeling of no hope for tomorrow, trouble you cause by not following God’s Word

The Irritant is what we go through to make us better or “What Doesn't Kill You Only Makes You Stronger” (Friedrich Nietzsche)

The longer a pearl stays inside an oyster, the larger it becomes. More expensive and more precious. So the bigger the test the bigger the testimony.

Protection (Armor of God -Ephesians 6:13-21) God has provided protection for us, and he challenges us to suit up!
Take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil (irritant) day, and having done all, to stand. (6:13)

Irritant + Protect= Pearls

Or

Test+ Full Armor of God= Testimony

Fortunately for those who favor this gem, there are now farms in which the irritant is deliberately injected into the mollusk to produce the pearl. These pearls are known as cultured. When pearls are made without the benefit of a mollusk, they're considered man-made (things of Flesh not spirit)

Like the cultured pearl (man-made), when you entertain the flesh or allow negative people around you, you allow yourself to be trampled and later torn down. When you wasting your gifts and talents on people who don’t deserve them you can be put down, let down, misunderstood and taken for granted.

If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.
• Trample- is to crush, flatten, walk on, stamp on, suppress, look down.
• They will turn and tear you to pieces – Cause you to lose confidence
in God and in yourself, lose your vision and sense of purpose.


WHO ARE THE PEOPLE THAT JESUS CHRIST DESCRIBES AS DOGS AND PIGS?
• People who don’t acknowledge the presence of God.
• People who look down on, reject, oppose, and abuse what is consecrated to God.
• People who are wicked, troublemakers, and mockers (Psalm 1:1).
• People who repeat the same mistakes for they do not review or reflect
on their actions.
• People who are self seeking.
• People who will continue doing that, which hurts, humiliate others without any consideration of the harm done to self and the others.
• Pigs cannot distinguish a piece of stone from a piece of diamond, so are people who have unsorted values.

Apostle Paul says about such people; ‘. . . many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. .9 Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is on earthly things (Phil 3:18-20).
A Dog
1. Eats unclean things
o It is not good to take the children's bread, and cast it to the dogs. But she said, Certainly, Lord; but even the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their master's table (Matt. 15:26, 27; Mark 7:27, 28);
2. Bark at men and bite them
3. Destroy and chew on things
Dog someone- treat like dirty, harmful, lowly and cheating
Or It means to be at their heels, bothering someone to be too close, to not allow breathing room or personal space. Like a puppy dog following its owner all over the place and getting under foot.
A Pig
Eats unclean things. Consume both plants and animals so it will eat anything.
If someone is describe as a pig they are sloppy, lazy, nasty, no good, good for nothing
Some Men are mostly called pigs because of the way they treat women. They say or do anything. Only for self

What can we do?
Stop giving our attention to the ones causing us pain and focus on Godly gain!
We can Suit up! Put on whole Armor of God! (Eph 6:13)

Ephesians 6:14-21
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

There's a famous myth that the tongue is the body's strongest muscle. I believe it is the strongest. Now, I don’t believe that it is stronger than your arms or legs but because it has the power of life and death. “Death and life are in the power of the tongue ..,” Proverbs 18:21. ''

Often time’s people speak before they think. We call it the “Slip of the tongue or Hand, Foot in Mouth Disease?” It happens to everyone some often than others. We do it and we knew it would get us in trouble later. Once it is said you can’t take it back.

We first have to learn how to think life right so that we can “Speak Life right.” I believe that whatever a mind thinks it shall come but also what you says it can also.
The Tongue can function in many ways. It help swallow food so our bodies can get nourishment or food that can so call harm us. It can cause trouble, arguments, make a situation worse (causing a crisis), alleviate a situation, or solve the problem.

In the bible Solomon gathered several Proverbs that speak about the tongue.

"By patience a ruler is persuaded. A soft tongue breaks the bone." Proverbs 25:15. (It’s better to

be patience than to act in haste. The end results can cause more harm than good.)
He who guards his lips guards his life, but he who speaks rashly will come to ruin. Proverbs 13:3 (You protect yourself from mess if you keep you mouth shut, but you can ruin your life if you don’t)
He who guards his mouth and his tongue keeps himself from calamity. Proverbs 21:2 3(You can stop trouble before it happens by being silent)
"Where there is much talk there will be no end to sin, but he who keeps his mouth shut does wisely." Proverbs 10:19 (You can get yourself in more trouble with what you say. One lie leads to more lies. A wise person is descret.)
"A gentle tongue is a tree of life, but deceit in it crushes the spirit." Proverbs 15:4 (Encouraging others can bring happiness, but dishonesty can bring harm )
"The tongue of the wise commends knowledge, but the mouth of fools gush out folly." Proverbs 15:2

The bible tells us that a QUIET TONGUE- discretion, good judgment, carefulness, tact, caution- is what Christians should have AND PRACTICE. “Whoever guards his mouth and his tongue keeps his soul from troubles." Proverbs 21:23

GOOD JUDGEMENT+ CAUTION+DISCRECTION+ TACT+ CAREFULNESS=Quiet Tongue

We have to be careful l(BE CAUTIONOUS) of what you say out of your mouth. If you make a statement you have to back it up with an action. The saying is “Put your money where your mouth is.” You just can’t say it you have to do it. Action does speak louder than words but once you put the wors out there you got to do something. So "Don’t Write a check with your mouth that your butt can't cash."

Think about this before you say anything:
What would happen if I said this? Would I hurt someone’s feelings? Am I a reflection of Jesus?

The tongue is confusing.
The American English language is confusing. There are homographs (literally “same writing”) are spelled the same, sound different, and have different meanings: Bow (to bend at the waist); bow (type of knot). There are homophones (literally “same sound”) are spelled differently, sound the same, and have different meanings:
• Two (the number 2); to (destination); too (also).
• There (place); their (plural possessive); they’re (they are).
Then there are homonyms (literally “same name”) are officially spelled and sound the same. Unofficially, homonyms can be spelled differently and sound the same. Either way, homonyms always have different meanings:
• Try (attempt); try (sit in judgment of).
Not (negative); knot (rope tied to itself). When spoken, the correct meaning can usually be inferred from the context of the conversation.
Paronyms are words with the similar sounds but different meanings. In written English, writers often mistake one paronym for another.
• accept – verb – to take or receive what is offered
• except – preposition – excluding
• except – verb – to leave out, to exclude
Some people never learn the proper way to speak (or write). So you can say things and mean another. People can misunderstand what you say and take it out of context. So for a person trying to learn English it can be really difficult to master it.

The tongue is defiling
“What goes into a man's mouth does not make him 'unclean,' but what comes out of his mouth that is what makes him 'unclean.'” Matthew 15:11
But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these make a man 'unclean.' Matthew 15:18

WHAT IS SPEAKING LIFE?

Encouraging yourself
First you must encourage yourself before anyone else. You must love you. When there is no one else around you have to tell yourself “pain I will endure for a night but joy will come in the morning.” “This too shall pass.” “No weapon formed against me shall prosper.” Speak victory during the test, Speak a word and you will be healed.

Encouraging others
The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole person, sets the whole course of his life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell. James 3:6
I have to constantly give speeches to my Performers about stop putting each other down (especially my 7th graders). They often say we are just playing. We are not serious. But deep down & on the surface it is hurting the other person. They don’t realize that it is a form of bullying and it is wrong. Their tongue is bringing death to their ‘friends.’ You never know what others may be going through. What trials they are facing. But a Word from the Lord can brighten up someone’s day. It could help them with their spiritual walk.

Practice what you Preach
I often hear pastors preaching about practice what you preach. This means Live what you speak. You can’t be holy only on Sundays and Monday through Saturday live by the flesh. It is a daily walk. Going to church doesn’t make you a Christian. You have to live what you speak. My purpose in this vessel is to be a light of the Lord. So people can see God through me. Every day I strive to fulfill that purpose. I do it through my talents because I don’t want to cry out!

Let Go and Let God
We have to let go (in our hearts, mind and tongue) and let God handle our situations. We have to hold are tongues or “bite the bullet.” Give him your situation and let him take control. We have to stop trying to fix what we are not design to fix. God is always in control like it or not. One way or the other he is going to take over. The easy way or the hard way. The chose is yours! He will work it out for you.

So let’s thank God for things before it happens! Be thankful for what he has given you! Thank him for keeping you from hurt harm and danger. Thank him for keeping you in your right mind. Thank him for all his grace and mercies. Most of all thank Him for just being God.

2011- The Odd Year- Got to be a 360 thinker part 1

It is the end of the 2nd month and 2011 has been something else. I have realized that The fasting and praying and mediation and praising and worshiping that I did when I first got to NYC was to prepare me for now. God has prepared me for warfare that will lead me to the greatness that is with in me.

What are my expectation? Live the life god whats me to live than things will fall into place. My thinking is God's thinking

what is important is the path that is before me.


What are God expectation for me?

Develop The attitude of Greatness


Think life right

Develope better relationships

Stop letting emotions control your actions

To listen and travel the path God has set in front of me

I got a journey ahead of me but with Gods's Grace and Mercy He will see me through.

Now is the time to stop placing stumbling blocks in my own way. I am my worst enemy. I sabatoage my own plans. I got to stick to the plan. Dust my shoulders of and keep it move. Leave the baggage at the front door cause there is not any room in my HOUSE!

So in order to GET IT TOGETHER, got to Get your mind right....be a 360 thinker with a 360 view.



360 or A panorama (formed from Greek πᾶν "all" + ὅραμα "sight") is any wide-angle view or representation of a physical space, whether in painting, drawing, photography, film/video, or a three-dimensional model.

It is not good to just have faith. You got to use action and your tongue. It is not good enough to have a good heart but you got to get your mind right. You have to believe God's word!

I'm in for the long haul! No matter how long it takes. Not just for the moment. I am expecting something good to happen. So I will wait. No Aint no more worrying! Lean on him! Got to have absolute trust on him!!! Start taking Christ at his Word!



Philippians 1:9- 11 (New International ) And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight 10 so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, 11 filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.



Now it is my time to birth a new way of think! A man is what he thinks!

To the naked eye, I may not have much but I got Faith now I got to act like I have it All. We are saved by faith! Cause what God has for me is for me!

My charge to you is to step out on Faith with me. Let's speak life! It is easy said and done!!!

WALKING AFTER THE SPIRIT- BEING DISTRACTED
“Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” (Colossians 3:2)

Romans 8:6 says: To be carnally mind is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
The word carnal means: in or of the flesh; and the physical needs or appetites; lustful; human or worldly as opposed to spiritual. It also means Flesh-devouring; cruel; ravenous; bloody, deathly. The living in the “World” is cruel, will devour your flesh; miserable. So why do I want to live in the “World?”

The word spiritual means pure, heavenly minded; divine; controlled, rooted in grounded
Flesh= out of controlled- zombie- restless
Spirit= in controlled- Heavenly- peace

Fleshly walking: You don’t know what tomorrow will bring. You are dying a miserable, flesh devouring death every day. You are the walking DEAD. A zombie- restless. You are plagued by worry, guilt, defeat, fear, loneliness, and suffering. They are killing you. You are in bondage.

Spiritual walking: You are rooted and grounded. You have peace – in the mind. You know you have a comforter that protects you from hurt, harm, and danger seen and unseen. You died already in Christ and now live again.

Why we cannot walk by the Spirit?
My problem is that I allow myself to be distracted. I let my problems distract me from advancing. I allow the flesh to distract me from my blessings. I allow the world to distract me from walking in the spirit daily. It is not that I don’t have the foundation I just allow myself to be side tracked.

All the time Christians allow ourselves to get side tracked. “God I’m not where I want to be financially. So I worry about how I’m pay bills.” “God I’m knocking on 30 door and I’m still not married. I’m not even on a serious relationship.” God I want a father for my kids. I am tired of doing things all alone. I’m just going to walking around bitter because men have done me wrong!” “God I’m happy where I am in my career I think I’m going to be stuck here for the rest of my life. So I am going to walk around miserable everyday complaining about how horrible things are.” “God why bad people receive they good things in life and good people suffer.” “God why am I going through all this pain and suffering. I have been faithful.” “Lord Why me?” “Can I get a break Lord?”

So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God (Romans 8:8). We need to ask ourselves daily: “Is this pleasing to God?” Allow the Fleshly things distract us is not pleasing to God.
Jesus died so we may have everlasting life (eternal living). He died so we DON’T have to Worry about day to day cares. He said, “I did it for you and you have to the audacity to complain and worry, fear.” So who are we to complain? It is already done! I will thank him for it in advance for the goodness and the glory.

We must trust in the Lord with our hearts & minds and lean not to our own Understanding (trying to figure God out, trying to work things out on our own, think we know it all). (Proverbs 3:5) For the Lord shall be your confidence, and shall keep your foot (mind, body) from being taken (keep you in perfect peace). (Proverbs 3:25) Every WORD of God is pure; he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him (Proverbs 30:5). Jesus said “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” (II Corinthians 12:9) He is our strength when we are weak if we walk, think and live in the spirit. For God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4: 19)
“Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For you are dead and your life is hid with Christ in God. (Colossians 3:2-3) We have to be Kingdom FOCUS. That is having the Kingdom MINDSET. We must focus in our mind of the things of God. How will this benefit the Kingdom? Is this giving God glory? Is God’s Goodness shining through me? I’m I a light for the Lord?

I am awake Lord! The light was flickering. Now it is time to Work!
“For me to live is Christ, and die is gain” (Philippians 1:21) When Christ , who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. (Colossians 3:4)

Worry- The Silent killer!
Worry is defined as anxiousness; a troubled unsettled feeling that cause of period of feeling anxiety or concerned.

Worry brings pain, suffering, ungodly thoughts, fear, lust
Worry is unrest in mind and spirit. We him we are at rest. Peace
I starting to write this on Saturday April 23 but couldn’t continue. Know I understand why. God gave me confirmation on the importance of Peace on Easter Sunday. Philippians 4: 7 says And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
In order to renew the mind, you have to have peace of mind. I have to change my way of thinking. I’m a firm believer in “Whatever a Man Think so shall he Be.”
I have not been living in peace at all. Time to time I get the spells of feeling down and out, And when it rains it pours. Everything bad (or I think it’s bad) happens all at once. The World is in turmoil. I seem to carry burdens of other people on my shoulder sometimes. Seems like nothing good is being produced, The Devil is running ever more rampaged. But God never has and never will put more on me than I can bear.
Then I Woke Up! Ding! The light bulb turned on. WHY I AM I WORRYING ABOUT WHAT I CAN NOT HANDLE. For others to living in peace, I have to be an example- a light if you will- of peaceful living.
God has truly blessed me. I have been so ungrateful and I am sorry about that. I’m not homeless- never has, even when it seem like I can’t find an apt and money to pay for it until the very end. I never been hungry- there were times I didn’t know how I will get food BUT GOD send his angels. I never been alone- Even though I felt lonely I have wonderful people there to cheer me up and tell me to get over myself. And I never been about to die – even though I have been sickly all my life. You see I’m a living witness I am stronger because he kept me and I didn’t let go of his hand! BUT GOD!!!

When Christ died he not only saved us from sins but he left us with peace. John 14:27 says, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
Having peace is one of the greatest thing to obtain. And so little of us have it. But true faith, with peace of mind, is of great profit: (1 Timothy 6:6).
(Isaiah 26:3) You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.

So in order to be in peace we have to TRUST in God because he Trust us to OBEY his WORD. His WORD says to Don’t Worry because
1. “My God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19).
2. "Do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” (Matthew 6:34)
3. “Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?” (Matthew 6:27)

Now what is peace you may ask. Well peace isn’t something we should take lightly. We want peace in our homes (with Neighbors). Peace on our jobs. Peace with our kids. Peace with our mate. Peace traveling whether driving with reckless drivers or riding subway or bus with rude people). Peace when we sleep- so people wont come in and rob us or attack us. Peace in our bodies from aches and pains. Peace in our spirits (when we are feeling guilty about doing something or not doing something). And of course Peace of Mind. But I realize that it isn’t hard to have or be.
It starts in the mind!

Peace is defined as
NOUN
1. freedom from war (fighting battles with in your mind, spirit- fear)
2. tranquillity: a calm and quiet state, free from disturbances or noise (No worries, comfort)
3. mental calm: a state of mental calm and serenity, with no anxiety (No WORRIES- Don’t Worry be happy now)
4. harmony: freedom from conflict or disagreement among people or groups of people
5. peace treaty: a treaty agreeing to an end of hostilities between two warring parties (A Covenant)
6. law and order: the absence of violence or other disturbances within a state (Following God’s Word)

My definition of Peace: “An agreement with Christ to be in order with a tranquil state of mind, free from battling or conflict in the body, soul, spirit and the tongue.”

There are 523 Occurrences of peace in the bible. Talking about living in peace, speaking in peace, making peace with your brother, etc..

Jesus said WE have peace in him

(John 16:33) I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world." He left a comforter. He died so we have life and life abundantly, eternally. He said “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”(1 Peter 5:7).
Philippians 4:6- “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition (plead, beg), with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”

Renewing mind= Having Faith+ Trusting+ Walking in Peace

God commanded peace so why can’t we? (Mark 4:39) He (Jesus) awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace! Be still!" The wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

He said I gave you peace so use it! So I’m not going to let my peace go to waste. So when I’m about to worry I will say Peace! Be still! When my students act up and I want to act out I will say Peace! Be still! When people don’t want to work with me I will say: Peace! Be still! When people want to be rude and I want to give them a piece of my mind I will say: Peace! Be still! Will others lose their heads around me I will say Peace! Be still!. We bills pile up I will say Peace! Be still! When I feel like giving up I will say Peace! Be still! When I feel like night is day and day is night I will say Peace! Be still! When trouble is all around me I will say Peace! Be still!
Just remember that Jesus paid the price so WE can live in Peace, although we really don’t deserve it.

As I talk to my colleagues in the “Business”, I find that we all face the same thing, rejection. The difference is our reactions. How we handle it. After you go through dozens of auditions, several gosees, many casting calls, do we let it get us upset and affect our entire day by dwelling on the could of, should of, and why did I do that. Or do we just have the “Oh well moving right along it’s their lost. This “business” is not for the faint at heart and courageless. Cause the city I live and love can be a “Rotten Apple” as Shanessa calls it and eat you alive. Also “The Maneater” or the Dream Stealer, Hope Killer, Faith Destroyer.

The key to survival is to maintain your composure and “Keep the Faith Baby (A.C. Powell). Just like with any situation you have to let it make you better and not break you. Survival of the fittest. This race is not giving to the swift or strong BUT the one who can endure!!! Merriam-Webster defines endure as “to undergo (as a hardship) especially without giving in or to suffer.” But I like the definition “to continue in the same state or last . Also to remain firm under suffering or misfortune without yielding. As Christians we must REMAIN FIRM UNDER SUFFERING WITHOUT WAVIERING. What the old folks say “Keep on Keeping on!”

Living life right is not being perfect (there is no perfect person just strive for it daily) but it is learning to handle what life throws at you. Just don’t let the stumbling blocks deter your entire path. When you drive and get off the wrong exit do you give up and go home. NO! You turn around and go back and go to the right exit or You ask for directions. In life if we don’t know where to go we need to “Ask for Directions.” God is there to direct your path. Let him be your GPS-- God (MY) Personal Savior--so you won’t take the wrong exit. Now some people still get lost with the GPS and that just mean you must continue to listen even if we “Think” we know where we are going.

We have to not walk in the flesh, but after the Spirit (Rom. 8-1). We have to keep hope. For we are saved by hope. WE have to hope for what is not seen, then do we with patience wait for it (25-26). The Spirit will make an intercession for you so you know what path to take. We should be like an umpire and be ready to catch whatever the pitcher throws. Whether it’s good, bad, fast or slow. We got to be ready.

We hear the saying “Whatever don’t kill you makes you stronger.” So True! We learn from our past hurts so we can be better or encourage others. We go through events for a reason. God places events to strength us. Every day is a new learning experience. Every audition, every test, every trial is there to make me a better performer. I have learned how to have courage, how to encourage myself, and appreciate what God has given me and will give me. So we have to learn, let God and keep it moving.

The Key is perseverance! Only way I have made it this far is keeping my head up and eyes lifting to the hills which comes my help. I can’t let no one nobody get in the way of what I feel. I love Alicia Keys Song No one. I think it really it should be a gospel song.

A Right Now Praise

As I travel on the highways and byways of life. Sometimes I feel like I'm alone. But he knows the plans he has for me. And let me know I'm never alone. He says I am right here with you. I will never let you fall. He holds my hand. So what can I do? Give him praise in the storm. Give him glory in the mist of all the pain. Even though I can't see my way he is right there with the umbrella to shield me from the rain. He is making a way when I can't see what's right in front of my face.
He knows. Don't try to figure it out. Let go and Let God has his way!

My way is your way!! Your way is my way!! So when I get down in the dumps I lift my eyes and say thank you for what you have done, what you are doing and what you will do!!! God is great and greatly to be praise! Won't you praise him with me!!!

What you know WON’T hurt you!!

I haven’t written anything for a long time. I was compelled for two reasons. One, a young lady recently told me that my words inspired her. I was so happy that I can be a light. I asked God daily to let me be a light that I shine and he is shown within me. Second, upholding my covenant that I made with the Lord. “Let your light so shine before men so they may see your good works.” I want to glorify God through my Song!

Trying to live right is a very difficult thing when you try to do it all alone. ‘So Warning attempting this alone is dangerous. You may experience a lot of Self Infliction and unnecessary heartache.’ Temptation is all around. As I fight temptation, I wonder if there is anyone else in the same boat. The Older you get the hardee it is. time is ticking. You want to to be married and have kids before you are Forty. And you want to give up. Yet you hold on to the Promise and wait on the Lord! with a Job spirit!

I am trying to save sex for marriage and that is very difficult to do. I think too many people value sex too much. I have conversations with people who say Sex is an important part of being intimate in a relationship (non-married). Some have sex when they first met. Others after they get in a serious relationship or 3, 4 or 5 date etc…. I’ve heard you need to “test the waters” to see how it will be when or if you get married. But I say what you don’t know won’t hurt you. Just like in 1st Genesis, when Eve gave Adam the forbidden fruit to eat and they begin to see things that was null and void to them before. All the things God PROTECTED them from they found out. They didn’t even know they were naked. Everything was open but that one tree and when they tapped in to the Forbidden they where OPEN.

Forbidden fruit=Sex=Open to Self Inflicted Nonsense=NO Protection

When you have sexual intercourse, you are open for disease, pregnancy, added responsibility that could have been avoided. Adam and Eve could have avoided the pain and sorrow only if they just said NO to the Forbidden Fruit! Some things you just don’t need to know. Just as a person addicted to cigarettes. If you don’t smoke, you WON’T GET ADDICTED! You will not know how it feels to NEED a Smoke. Then you won't need help to quit. Sex is Addicting. If you give yourself away than what will you have left for your mate? I don’t know about you but I don’t want leftovers. So I have to share with all the other females before me.

I know some of my sisters are going through this, but I wonder if any guys are going through the same thing. Seems to me that I come in contact with guys who are use to having sex. Some say they have to have it and it’s not natural to not to. Others say that they respect “My wishes” but in actuality they can’t help but want me (my body) so badly. It is harm in wanting because you may act on your wants. They say they “need” to have sex and that’s what they are use to. People get confused of what they really need. I want a man but I don’t need one right now. When I say I don’t need to they look at me like I was an alien that landed on earth last night. I think just the opposite.

It AIN’T NATUAL to have Relations. It wasn’t meant for Pre-marriage to see if they person is good in bed. Like that is a determined factor before marriage. “She can’t cook, she can dress, she is lazy and doesn’t work BUT she is good in bed! Got to marry her!” You know how that marriage going to end up! OVER before it starts! That’s the sad part. We give our pearls or jewels away to a cute face, thin waist, sex body, big bank account. It ain’t precious any more.

The important thing we have erased…Marriage as a sacred event. It is not to be taken lightly. This is why so many people get divorced. They jump too soon in the bed instead of the head. So no more selling ourselves short. The pearls and the Jewels stay in the box until that Special Occasion. Don’t let just anyone in your personal space. Put up your reserved sign and wait till it’s your time. This place is closed for renovation. Invitation Only!!! Who do you get the RSVP from…whom else God Almighty!!! Your Harvest is on the way. Sow now and get prepared for your mate. As you build and revamp, then renovation after you deconstruct your dwelling keep in mind that problems will rise but it all how you take it. All I have to do to obey his Word and I will be "blessed in the city and blessed in the field. (Deut. 28: 3) The fruit of my womb (children will be blessed...finanices will be blessed, my career will be blessed...I will be blessed when I come in and when I go out." And everything I put my hand to. (8) He will grant me abundant prosperity (incredible increase) (11) He will open up the windows of heaven and pour me out a blessing.

"He will make me the head and not the tail" (Deut. 28:13). If I pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that is given unto me and follow the carefully and I will always be at the TOP and not the bottom. (13)

Proverbs 3 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not an your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge (know) him, and the will make your path straight. (5-6) As I was reading over my notes that I call Part I: My walk with God, I realized that God has been strengthen me since I started moving to another spiritual level. It is awesome that God has revealed to me how easy life could be if I just stop stressing and count my blessings. I need to Expect greatness.

Faith= believes

Expectation = preparation (getting myself ready)

Believe in what I just prayed is going to happen (Felton) I got worship God until where I am doesn't matter. That means I must stop being (upset) that I'm still in Dothan. God has laid a foundation and I must us his tools to build my building (my life). Right now hw has given me.

This brings me back to Romans 12:11 "Never be lacking in zeal but keep your spiritual fervor serving the Lord.: In order to make it in this lifetime, I must be highly spirited keep faith strong and know that God will work, is working, and will always provide. Keep the Drive alive! Keeping my eyes on the prize, the vision. And always led by the spirit (Galatians 5:16).

With faith, focus and drive, I can make it in the business. I need to keep in mind and heart these things as I grow as an artist and a child of God.
